I am very active with a Horse rescue locally and there have been about 3 poeple that are constantly posting nasty posts in Craigs list about them and claiming they are happening now. Telling people to stay away that they will get ripped off, that the animals are being mistreated, etc.
The owner of the place has been trying to get ads out on the internet for a horse camp that he has evey year but these people keep flagging his posts, and posting their own nasty ones.
Now there were issues about 2 to 3 yrs ago, management has changed and many improvments have been made to the property. I even invited these "people" to come check things out and asked them to stop posting those ads without viable proof, but it still continues. there are not wrong doings going on there and they are very likely to be the ones that were thrown off the property long ago because the owner wouldn't let them adopt a horse they wanted, (because he didn't feel it was a good match), and they got nasty.
Is there something that can be done about this? He is losing volunteers and I am sure donations because of this.
