I have a questions regarding a financing contract. I just took delivery on a car. I signed the simple interest contract. However, the Finance manager only placed a typewritten name of his business and not an ink signature. Is this contract vaild and enforceable? If not, what remedies are availible to me.

Thank you

My response:

It's valid. Sounds to me like you're having "buyer's remorse".

I have a more specific questions that you may be able to answer for me. Can the dealer call back at a later time and tell me that the financing fell through and that I will need to sign another contract at a higher rate?

If the dealer tries to do this to me, do I have any remedies under New York State law?

Thank you
