I was in a relationship, i asked my girlfriend to advance me money to buy an investment property which i bought and put in my name-the understanding was that i will refund her if i sell another property of my own-this has not happened we since split up after a 2 year relationship-i i return suggested an attorney to draw up a legal document as security for herself that i will repay her once that property is sold,we both signed the said document- i managed to get a buyer for the other property-but the girlfriend being so vendictive due to the breakup jeopordise the sale and that fell through-she then put the 1st property which i obtained from her money on the market-we got an offer-and ofdered to pay her half share out-which out of vendictiveness refused! She has given me money on a regular basis to renovate the ew investment-but that is almost 4years ago! She now went to high court to try and claim the full amount she gave me to purchase the property and all the other monies she advanced to me-i approached her attorneys and made the same offer to pay the 50% of the original offer we obtained-but being extremely arrougant refused outright! I even suggested to register a covering bond for the 50% on the other property as secuirty for her-thks was also refused! I am in a little financial trouble and cannot afford the legal charges of a professional attorney-and her being so vendictive and went back to her 1st husband and utilising his cash as hes wealthy to try and destroy me financially! What can i do to try and avoid the high court at all costs,as surely this will cost me a fortune?

Your situation is too complex for an internet forum. You will want to discuss this with an attorney.
