What is the name of your state? NJ My friend has a 6 year old child that has been attending a before and after school program at a local Nursery / kindergarten school. The tuition was $225.00 per month all year starting in September. They just now handed out a flier that as of April 1,2007 the tuition will go up to $375.00 per month. That is a 67% increase!!! As a single parent this is a rough one. Can they legaly do that during a school year or do they have to wait until the next term starts? Normal increases seem ok but this seems to be extreme.

What does her contract/agreement say about increases?
It should be covered there.
