What is the name of your state? Missouri
I recently had a disagreement with a service provider about my monthly bill. The customer service rep. was very rude to me and ultimatly hung up on me. I called back, got a different rep. and the issue was resolved with no problem, until I got my next statement.
On my next billing statement my name information was changed to read
"John VERY RUDE Doe". (It didn't say John Doe it said my actual name)
This appeared everywhere that my name appeared on the statement including the address window viewable through the envelope. This has appeared on the last two statements and each time I have called to get it corrected and they say it will be fixed.
Is this libel, and do I have grounds to sue for a monitay settelment.
