is this punishable by law??????????????????????????????????????????

What is the name of your state? Michigan

Ok, a while back a friend of mine got into some trouble with a guy down the road from him.. some details spared, he damaged some of his property, and the guy almost pressed charges, but he decided not to, and instead he just had to pay the guy for the damages, and a contract was made out dismissing him from all charges upon paying for the damages in full. My friend felt he was over charged, and it turned out the guy who's property it was lied about some things and this caused a bit of anger too..

A while after that happened, he (my friend) went onto myspace and posted a blog. it went like this..

"So I'm over at a friend's house one day.. and he had this fake tree in his kitchen. I knocked it over and walked away, and he found it and picked it back up. The next day I did it again, but he saw me do it.. so now he's charging me triple what it's worth even though it wasn't broken, plus the cost of a brand new floor for his entire kitchen since I got dirt on it, and he also gave me a bullsh*t story about how he was right there when I did it and almost hit him with the tree, and that each time he picked it up it killed him because he has no left arm and has to take pain killers to stay alive.

Actually that's just a little anecdote about something that happened.. that's not really how it went down, but pretty much.. it's the general idea of what really happened, and if two-faced shenanigans man or anyone associated with him reads this, you know what I'm talking about.. ($1,270 ring a bell? How about $1,910?) Ah well.. in summary, two-faced shenanigans man is a lying b*tch, and his seed should be wiped from the earth. A nice 'f*ck you' goes out to you and your family.. I hope you bought something nice with my money. ,.l.. (-_-) ..l.,"

Sorry this is so lengthy, but that's the blog word for word. The reason I ask if any legal action can be taken against him for this is because the guy who's property he damaged read it, and called the cop that was involved with the property incident, and now apparently the cop is going to his house tomorrow. Could he be charged for harassment or something? I don't really see how.. since he didn't really put it on the internet for the guy to read he says. I dunno.. any input would be appreciated.

I would seriously suggest your friend stop making things worse for himself. Apparently, he didn't learn from the first altercation.
