What is the name of your state?CT
I had two CC charge off at 12/03 and verified on all three Credit Reports.
I just pulled a 3 in 1, and see that Equifax is reporting as "Pays or Paid as Agreed" from 12/03 thru 6/04. This is an AT&T Universal Card that was bought by CITI. Looks to me like they are trying to re-age the account as a result of the sale.
Any thoughts?

It is possible, but why would they change it from a negative to a positive ??
I wouldn't trust the 3-in-1 reports, get each one separately and then see what's up.

Thanks for the quick response Lady.
I just pulled the EQ report and it still shows as "Pays or Paid as Agreed" for 12/03 to 4/04 in the 24 month payment history.
Status, however, shows as "charge-off" and DOLA as 5/2003.
As Artie Johnson would say...."Verrrrry Interesting!" (showing my age huh?).
Will probably get other CRs tomorrow and see what they show.
Thanks again.

The CRA will be able to give you the date of first deliquency. Per 623{a} of the FCRA:

(5) Duty to provide notice of delinquency of accounts. A person who furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency regarding a delinquent account being placed for collection, charged to profit or loss, or subjected to any similar action shall, not later than 90 days after furnishing the information, notify the agency of the month and year of the commencement of the delinquency that immediately preceded the action.

Thanks bigun,
What has triggered my curiosity is the fact that I have been receiving dunning letters from various CA's since these (2CC) accounts reached 'charge-off' @ 12/03 and expected to see some activity on my CR's from them. Not a word from them! Neither of these accounts are lised in the 'collections' category but do show on the 'account status' category as 'collection'.
Very confusing!
Am I correct in ASS U ME ing that these accounts have only been "assigned" to the different CA's (as opposed to SOLD) and therefore would not show as reported by them to the CR?
Just the beginning of a long road so any input early on is appreciated.
