What is the name of your state? Vermont...I called the office of child support, and requested to see my file. I was told I could not see it, and had to make that request through the judge in family court. I needed some imformation from the OCS office screwing up. Can the do this? If not what do I do? Thanks Faith

Head on down there and/or call and ask them to specifically quote the statute that tells them that. And tell them that if they are unable to do so, then you will take appropriate legal action AGAINST the agency. While they might not be able to tell you anything over the phone (as a privacy thing), they MUST let you see YOUR file.
