Is this slander or defamation of character?

What is the name of your state? MO
On one of those chat yahoo groups, a person that owns the group put in a post calling me names ect... and telling people to beware of me, she used my full name, last name and first name, there was also posted on the group a email that this person had sent me, also calling me names and just outright slandering me, do I have any legal discourse on this, as its a public group, and now my name is being slandered, and all because she owes me money. (I do have copies of both email and group message), Thank You, Vicki

Vicki, if you have $30K and three years, hire a lawyer to sue.
