I bought a home from Beazer Homes, and the house is a complete piece of cr@p. From what I've heard, numerous other people have had the same issue in this community.

I intend to start a Forum, just like this site basically, where people can voice their concerns, issues, and problems...so as to help inform others before it too late.

The site will be completely public opinion...and they can say good or bad things.

You can be sued for just about anything in this country. Whether they win or not is another question, I put the odds of both at about 50/50 if you start your site.

how about....www.mybeazerhomesucks.com....at least its not slander, its fact. right???
I'm not a lawyer.... but I believe that you can call your website whatever domain you want if the URL name is available and is not a trademark infringement.... for example, you can't name your site www.beazerhomes.com (even if that URL is available), without expecting to loose the legal right to that name. There may, in fact, be many companies in cyberspace having the name beazer.... e.g. Beazer farms, Beazer beer, Beazer hot dogs, etc. Your URL name must be different and not likely to be confused with their legitimate business website. Many companies buy up the URL names with suffixes of "sucks", "sux", "bites", etc. appended to their own website domain name prefix solely to prevent such complaint sites from being formed or found. If you do create such a website, it is vitally important that you do not make any false statements. In order to get more exposure or hits on such a website, you may have to put several applicable keywords in the META TAGS portion of the head section *AND* arrange for many of your friends who have websites to install a hotlink to your site within their site.

Just my two cents worth.

Screwed up

Yes, there was a whole list of things at the home walkthrough...but they scheduled that the same day as settlement, so there wasn't any time to fix anything. So, now I've had numerous contractors in my house with only my wife and children...which is also discomforting.

The Beazer rep. actually told us we should fix the problems ourselves during the walkthrough. Like cleaning the paint off the hardwood floor, and polyurethaning the banister because it needed to be refinished.

Mind you, this is a NEW home...just built. I've heard that numerous other people in the community have had similar problems, and it makes me sick that Beazer can deleiver homes like this to people who work so hard to buy them. Beazer is making out like a bandit, because of all the cheap labor, and we pay the price.
