I recently made a sale that was for Individual Slot Machine Tokens. The heading clearly stated "Individual" although at some point in time, the description read "...refill tokens of 100". On my site, I have disclaimers on price and description errors on the site (as most of it is automated). Well this customer assumed that he was going to get 700 tokens at the individual price. His order has already been delivered and now he is disputing the purchase. I have informed him and provided him with the link about price and content descrepancies along with two options to remedy the situation: 1) Provide him with the remaining 693 tokens at cost; or 2) return the merchandise for a full refund. I even offered to allow him to keep the tokens he has at cost and refund the amount of $12.41 to eliminate any hassles in returning the merchandise. As of late, I have not heard back from him.
Question: Should I have even offered him a full refund? or offered him the merchandise at cost? ...even though there is the Price disclaimers and such?
