What is the name of your state? IN

Ok, so we filed chapter 7 exactly a yr ago. It's been discharged, but as I was looking over my credit report I seen that a credit card that I had filed against was still reporting. The last report date was 10/07?? I'm confused because even under the status it says "Petition for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy/Account charged off", so why are they still reporting and is this hurting us??

from what i understand, they can report that and can do so for another 6 years (7 from bankruptcy)

and yes, bankruptcy does reflect badly on you, credit wise.
