I have had emails sent to me from friends where another stable owner has told them not to board thier horses at my stable. Because "they are not honest and don't love thier horses, they don't feed thier horses, they breed dogs on the side and get mutts and breed with whatever and then sell them" the list of tales are endless. No problem, so we call her on it and she says sorry I am just relating what I have heard. Apology accepted and we move on with life right. Wrong. She is now stating that I was reported to the authorities for neglect/abuse on my horses. Ofcourse I call the local sheriff's office and they know nothing. Yet a potential client tells a friend of mine that he was thinking of bringing his horses out here, but not since the report of this alleged abuse..... this is all in writing from the opposing stable owner. Now, we also have a problem of her calling me under false pretenses... she uses the phone of her employer a prominent hospital and with caller ID I panic and think a family member is in the hospital and answer it ,,,, its her!!!
What do I do to get this evil, lieing, decieptful B.... off of my back? She is hell bent on trying to ruin me with her slanderous tongue and libelous emails.... small claims allows up to $7000 and thats a shot in the dark. I am not the first nor the last one she has done this too. This is a community problem and something needs to be done, what do I do with her?

The only libelous part of this whole story is what she put in writing claiming that you were being charged with Abuse of animals.

Go see a local attorney for a consultation and take with you all of the proof you have to this point, including the person who received the communications alleging you were being charged with abuse.
