What is the name of your state?Arkansas

Some collection agency by the name of Allied keeps calling me about a debt having to do with some apartment community. They are getting my phone number out of the phone book because I have the same first initial and last name as the debtor.

I have not lived in an apartment since I left Los Angeles 15 years ago. I own my home and do not have any delinquent debts. How do I get these people to stop calling me? I have told them numerous times that they have the wrong person. but they keep calling. It is getting a bit tiresome.

Telling them isn't going to do any good, as you have found out, they will ignore you because they think THEY are right. Get their mailing address and send them a cease and desist letter. Tell them the debt is NOT yours, you have never lived in the location they are harrassing you about and they are never to contact you again.

File a harrassment complaint with the phone company and I'd file a complaint with the AK Atty. General's office too.
