What is the name of your state? Texas

The following was posted to a local public message board (registration required to post):

This gentleman will leave your company High and Dry. I know for a fact that this person is unreliable. He will lead you to think that he understands but when it comes time to show what he can do, he freezes up and leave the team. This gentleman is very unreliable. I would not recommend him for ANYTHING, to anyone, at anytime.
The sender did not include a name other than his username, bigdaddycoolj. I am certain this statement was made by a former supervisor I had a Unisys, Inc., Mr. Joshua Henry (a certainty reinforced by the "J" at the end of his chosen username, and Mr. Henry's size).

He has defamed my character with false and misleading statements. Attempting anonymity increases the harm he has done.

What are my options? I do not have the money for a lawyer, but I would think that this should be an easy case to win.

Thank you.

Dave

So this message was made on a public message board. What other clues are there for others to KNOW that he is referring to YOU?

Because he was replying to a post I had made, that's how I know he was referring to me.

On an anonymous board, how will others know that he was referring to you? He's allowed to express his opinion. He feels that you were unreliable. Maybe that's why you don't work there anymore.

Actually, I left after I my experience and following proven troubleshooting methodology were questioned, and I found there was questionable ethics at the company.

And yes, I think it's clear to anyone who read it that he was referring to me.

Wait just a minute here! "bigdaddycoolj" is actually the son of popular rappers Big Daddy Kane and LL Cool J, and we all know how rich they are. I smell deep pockets here. Sue away, and make sure you include in your request for damages to be paid in "bling".

Good luck.

And make sure those pockets don't have holes in them and the "bling" he's playing with actually jingles ;)
