i am a foreign medical graduate who has
a j-1 visa with a 2-year foreign residency require-
ment. i married a us citizen nurse with two minor
children and would like to file for an exceptional
hardship waiver. the children won't be allowed
to leave the country per court order. what are
my chances of getting the waiver? how should i
word my statement to INS to improve my chances?

Your chances are good.. but I suggest you see an Immigration attorney to get the wording and application correct.
