i live in south carolina and my son's father has been in and out of jail on drug charges since my son was born (he's now 3). he is addicted to crack cocaine and i would like to have his parental rights revoked. i had heard that if you had filed for child support and gotten no response within a year, you could automatically revoke their rights. is this true, and how do i go about getting it done?

Your sons father is only 3?

Seriously, you retain an attorney and file to have his PR terminated, or at the very least, all visitation/contact stopped until he can prove he is drug free..

Good luck.
