I live in South Carolina
I bought a jetski and we got to ride it 1 summer ( bought it with no warrenty ) next summer the motor blew up. I took it to an indiviual to have it repaired cost was 1270.00.It wasnt right from the 1st time i got it back didnt get to ride it any that summer so I called the person and he would say try this , try this got tired of that so i took it back to him and he said he would fix the problem . well as of right now he has had our ski longer than we have , i have called him wont return calls but i have been writing down all the times ive called . He told me it was his fault that i was having problems and he would fix it ( had my son with me when he said it ) when i call if i do get somene 1st thing they want to know is who is it and they have to check and see if he is at home ( guess he is never home always says not home )
im wanting to know if i have a case to file against him i have the checks where the parts was bought and paid for
all i want is if he doesnt want to fix it is give me my money back and i will take it somewhere else
no bill was given when i paid him but i had some people with me when i did

First, you need to start handling these issues properly. If the person that you have a complaint with doesn't respond to your phone calls... WRITE HIM A LETTER!! (I know... another 'lost' art).

Send it Certified. Detail your specific problems and what you want him to do. Make it professional and to the point. Do not be petty, argumentative, combative, etc. Give him a reasonable time (7 days from reciept) to reply or you "will have to consider taking legal action" to recover your damages.

Then AFTER THE LETTER, if he doesn't respond, take him to court.
