Regarding "Blondie" and

. . .why she uses 'intel' in her name?? :D
When I chose my username, I was thinking about IAALs comment about redheads and a comment from my husband.

My husband said, "I know there are some intelligent blondes out there, because I found one."

. . .can you please explain what 'BlondeIntel' is doing here . . .
Although I hope that my experience can be of use to someone, I realize that the senior posters have more experience than I do. I came here to learn and I do much more reading than posting.

I have no problem in your posting FACTUAL, legally accurate posts, or even humorous ones.

However, I did take exception to the posts you made in the thread at:
https://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=189057

Your post was not only inaccurate, but when corrected, you responded with an even more outrageous statement of: "I don't read statutes unless I absolutely have to. I follow the procedures of the agencies where I work or volunteer.", then you followed that up with: "I'm not a lawyer. I try not to even worry about that end of the whole process.".

This is (supposed to be) a LEGAL advice forum. How do you expect anyone to value your posts when you don;t "read statutes" or "worry about the whole (legal) process", yet somehow feel 'compelled' to post to a LEGAL thread??

Simply, when you post non-relevant, different state, or flat out wrong claims (as has happened), then you will be challenged and asked to prove your post. If you can, great. If you can't, then admit it, learn and move on to another thread where you might have actual legal knowledge or experience.

I went back and checked all of my previous posts. I have never posted a serious response to a thread unless I had some actual experience in that subject.

I have lived in several states including Texas which was the state listed in the thread you quoted. I have posted a response to someone who resided in a state that I had never lived in, but I had experience related to the problem presented.

However, I did take exception to the posts you made in the thread at: https://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=189057

Your post was not only inaccurate, but when corrected, you responded with an even more outrageous statement of: "I don't read statutes unless I absolutely have to. I disagree with your statement that my post was inaccurate. I think incomplete would be a better discription. There is gap between what is legally possible and what is legally probable. I still believe that what I posted was legally possible and am more than willing to concede that you could have enough experience to know that it wasn't legally probable. I didn't worry about the fact that my knowledge was limited because I know there are a lot of other posters here who would be able to complete the picture. (Which did happen.)

When someone posts here, they are looking for solutions to problems that sometimes have both legal and non-legal facets. Since I have received a "Thank you." and an "I agree." I know that my non-legal viewpoint has helped some posters.

I thoroughly enjoy helping people solve problems.
