What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? vermont

I was charged with a DUI last year, and had it dropped to Negligent Operation, which I was charged with instead of a DUI. WHen I apply for jobs and they ask if I have ever gotten a DUI, do I say yes or no? I am wondering what comes up when they do the background check, if it comes up as a DUI or as a Negligent Operation...

Since you were not convicted of dui you did not "get" a dui. I would absolutely answer NO. goodluck.
