I've been following the banter between you and Andi.Both of you are missing eachothers point.I am not sure of all the facts regarding your case but from what I gather it's pretty black and white.
I think Andi was under the impression that you were just as guilty as your girlfriend.That you were in it together.If she forced it on you then you have every right to walk away and never look back.
Why are you going to hire an attorney or have a pd if you are not charged with anything?Let it ride out and see what happens.If you do have charges then get good council.
