If a father and son enter into a joint account that is payable on death and the father enters into another commercial agreement, when the father dies doe the holder of the commercial agreement have the right to offset the joint account in full to cover such debt or is the son entitled to his half of the joint account? Point me in the direction of relevant caselaw, etc. Thanks.
