What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Georgia. Married. Having marital serious issues. Have money in joint checking accounts. Can spouse legally take money from our joint account and put it in a personal account so that only she can access it?

Yes, she can.

I have worked in a bank for over 3 years and your spouse can take the money and run. As long as their name is on the account they have full control of the money, so if a withdrawl is made there's really nothing you can do except try and work it out personally.
