My husband has joint legal custody of his girls with their mother being the custodial parent. He has eo weekend visitation. The 13 year old recently got into trouble with the police for breaking a plate glass window and the mother was given a citation to pay $260.00. The incident happened while she was in her mothers care. She called today and demanded $130.00 for "his" half of the citation. Is he legally responsible for this?
Thanks!

Very likely, yes. However, did she provide proof of payment? If so, pay her 1/2. If not, ask for the bill and pay it directly.
