Does joint legal custody mean that there will not be child support involved? My wife says that she doesnt want to go after child support but Im not sure this is possible.

My ex and I have joint legal custody while I maintain primary physical custody. He still pays child support per our divorce decree.

It is possible...depending on your incomes. You might as well try punching in the numbers into a child support calculator. Even if one parent makes slightly more than another, depending on who's paying for the insurance, it could even it out.

In addition, cs is something that is worked out between divorcing parties in their divorce decree.
