Joint Ownership Tranfer to Just Me Cannot Reach Other Owner

I'm in Missouri. I bought out the joint owner of a boat and trailer a few years ago. We transfered the boat title to just me, but not the trailer title, because we did not realize there was a seperate title for the trailer. I have been unable to contact the joint owner. Is there a way to transfer the joint trailer title to just me without the joint owner?

You can go to court and try to quiet title.

No other way, go to court

There is no magic tap-tap to get an owner's signature when the owner is not around. Not only would you need to go to court, you will have to go through many steps to serve the other owner. At the end of the steps, you will probably have to serve by publication.
