My mother and my younger brother jointly own a mobile home. My brother is 52, Mom is 81. Mom's having health problems. My brother has schitzophrenia, and isn't able to understand much about real estate and other matters. I'm afraid if Mom dies, my brother won't be able to sell the trailer at some point. I have a power of attorney from my mother, and Mom has a trust which names me and my older brother as co-trustees. Is there anything I could or should do,or advise my family, about ownership of the home? Thank you.
