What is the name of your state? NJ

Ok, let's say someone does get a judgement against me. What are the items they can claim? I don't own a home or any land. I have $10 in my bank account. I do however have two vehicles. One is a van with a salvage title (basically worth nothing), and a 12 year old car. My SO drives the car and I drive the van. Can they take one of these cars? Those are my only assets other than furniture and household items.

If someone gets a judgment against you, they can go against all of your property (mixed, real, personal) and your paycheck.

There may be certain exemptions in your jurisdiction.

Look in your state statutes under garnishment, execution, judgments, etc.
