What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virgina
Went to judgement excemption hearing today Mann Bracken garnish our bank account.
Judge ruled our Social Security checks are excempt and they cannot touch. Bank is to return money to account but anything other than SSchecks they can get like a refund of 12.40 we got from our insurance co.Nothing else will go in.
Can I close this account and start a new one or should I leave it?

A: Do what you want. But if you close it, you will be in court for another debtor's examination.
