What is the name of your state? iowa

We are in the process of combing through our credit record to clear it up. On my husband's report, there is a judgement listed. He was served about 18 mos ago w/a summons to appear for a judgement for a past medical bill @300. We paid the full amt to the creditor before the court date. We received in the mail after we paid (and i can't find it) what i believe was a copy of a dismissal showing it was paid. On the state court site, it is listed as 'small claim-disposed by clerk'. We took that paying it and receiving the paper showing paid was dismissing it. Is that what disposed of means in court? We are disputing this on his report to try to get it removed and if that is what it means, I will contact the creditor for a copy showing paid to forward to the credit reporting agency. Thanks in advance!
