Good Day, I had a judgement for bank garnishment placed on me in 5/20/05 in the State of Ohio. My question is there a statue of limitations on the Judgement or not I know they changed the laws in Ohio on Judgements in 2007. The last file on my case was in 6/5/2013 , which I guessing because it doesn't say that they did the five year action.

Thank You

Josh B.

I agree that Ohio's law on this subject is convoluted.

I suggest googling "how long are judgments enforceable in ohio." Assuming you get the same first result I did, it is an article by a highly-regarded law firm in Ohio that explains the situation. I'd post a link, but this site doesn't like that.
