I have a judgement on a person in IL for $1800. This happened in late August 01. He has no intention of paying me the money. What are some methods I can use to get paid? Any information would be helpful.

Among the procedures allowed: wage garnishment, property lien. Go to: http://www.lawdog.com for more info and do a yahoo search for: Illinois judgment collection procedure and you should find some sites, especially from the Chicago Bar (they site law, exemptions, legal statutes of limitations on such procedures, etc), I did a prelim search and that is what I found.

Also, you should go back to the courthouse and ask what procedures and paperwork that you need to enforce your judgment, many courts prepare pamphlets, see if yours does.

Hope this helps.
