What is the name of your state? South carolina
We had a judgement put against us in 2002. We paid it in 2005. When does it come off credit? Again, the CRA told us 10 years from when we paid it, not from when it first went on the credit. I also questioned the 10 years instead of 7.

Thanks:p

Negatives stay for 7-1/2 years from date of delinquency. In your case, from the date of entry of the judgment. It is NOT 10 years from the satisfaction of that judgment.

confused

so it is 7 years from the date the judgement was first posted right on the credit? Wha about the original debt which is still listed as a different item on the credit? Will that go away 7 years from the date of first delinquency?
