In Texas: I don't think this got posted 1st try so here it is again.

I have received a $4200 judgement against the owner of a cabinet shop and his wife for failure to deliver cabinets after he received my downpayment. Since then I have discovered that he has filed for divorce againt her. Question 1: Is there any means by which I can have my judgement entered in to his divorce with the intention of having the divorce judge require my judgement be satisfied before he will allow for the dividing of any property they might attempt to split?
Question 2: Is there any way I can exert leverage against their credit my sending the major credit reporting agencies copies of my judgement?

Thank you

Q1) "Is there any means by which I can have my judgement entered in to his divorce with the intention of having the divorce judge require my judgement be satisfied before he will allow for the dividing of any property they might attempt to split?"
A1) Generally no. The court has no standing to force actual payment, only to assign the debt to one or the other (or even a split percentage liability). And this would probably cause additional problems down the line (and costs).

Q2) "Is there any way I can exert leverage against their credit my sending the major credit reporting agencies copies of my judgement?"
A2) Yes. If you are a member of the CRA (Credit Reporting Agency) you can get the judgment included in their credit history file.
