What is the name of your state? new jersey
I have a judgment that appears on credit reports.
My understanding is that once I get a disharge in Bankruptcy
then I could vacate this judgment by motion to court, and then
it would be removed from my credit reports.

Am I correct on this, or is there something I'm missing ?

Thanks for response.

No, you are correct. Once the judgment is vacated, you should notify the credit bureaus and have it removed.
