I am trying to help a friend in Texas that apparently has a judgment against her for an unpaid credit card years ago. She recently received a letter from an attorney about seeking a writ of execution to seize and sell non-exempt property. She is wanting to find out how she can get a copy of the judgment? she doesn't even know where it was filed and what can they take from her? She doesn't have much money, she lives paycheck to paycheck but she does own the trailer house she currently lives in, can they take that from her? She can't afford an attorney - any help on where to start would be appreciated.
