jurisdiction hearing

What is the name of your state? MS

Can someone tell me what happens at a hearing for jurisdiction? I have an appointment with my lawyer on Thursday but am already nervous as the hearing is Monday the 6th.

Will I be called to testify?

Also my x didn't respond to the summons and will most likely not show up.
