Probably an oft-asked question, but when I sell a product online to another state, can the buyer sue me in their home state, where the product eventually was delivered? I sell to many states. If I name the venue as a term in my contract with the buyer, will that hold up and make disputes have to be litigated in my state? Also, what can I get if I sue for slander, as this buyer has been online telling lies about me which my loyal customers have kindly forwarded to me. Lastly, can my contract supercede a state law once it is signed by the buyer? Thanks!
