Sure he can. He has filed for a modification in custody. Maybe he is looking for things to prove you are a flight risk or unfit, like charigng one way airfare to another country for you and your son? Things like that. You seem defensive about something since you had to be taken to court to get your child in counseling and with a 12 yo child still have to exchange the child at a friend's house every Sunday.

I dont believe that is what she said in her other post. She said the father drops the child off at a friends house for her to pick up. You are assuming that they HAVE to do that and it is not dads choice to do it for some other reason. Maybe he has to be at work when it is time for the child to go home or just cant be home at that time for some other reason. Maybe he just does not want to be bothered with it. Until the OP tells us why he does that we dont know.

As far as the counseling it sounds like to me that dad did not get what he wanted out of the child (to choose to live with him which child cant make that decision anyway)so is pretty much trying every tactic he can to persuade the judge to rule in his favor. All he had to do was say the child is having issues and problems and most judges would order some type of counseling. That does not mean the child actually needs it.

To me it sounds like dad and his new GF are on a power trip.

Replying to all that posted to my last one.

Let me just doing some clarifiying. My exhusband takes my son to his friend house on sunday morning instead of spending the quality time he should. he wants sole . He drops my son off at his friends house at 9am and he picks his son up from friends house at 530 so he can have him back at his house in time for me to pick him up at 6 at the fathers house. Well if my ex would have came to me and ask about puttting my son into counseling have no problem with that. but no that was his tactic for the judge i believe. well we have our son in counseling and thie counselor believes my son should stay in the same enviroment that he is in now. she believes the father should spend more time with son. I believe that my son is 12 and can take care of himself now the father wants him.My son loves his father but he does not want to live with him. Well the ex needs to prove that im a flight risk which im not. I have gone to 2 different attorneys and they believe i dont need an attorney that he really doesnt have anything to win. But i dont feel good about going back to court without an attorney , We have the evidentiary trail in march. I have never dealt with the court systems or ever have a crimnial record. Hes using that im unfit cuase i leave my son home in the mornings when i go to work well cant get a sitter at that time in the morning and i have my neighbors that do make sure hes up and has breakfast before school. well i hoped i have clarified it a little more for you all.
