What is the name of your state? tx

My husband got a call from a police officer who then told him that there was absolutely nothing in his texts that was vulgar nor offensive. The only thing his ex could make a complaint about was how many texts were sent. (which in itself is silly cos they were having a conversation...hmmmm!!!) He basically told my husband that he understood his point of view and that he was "just doing his job" by calling him. She is a total piece of work.

What pray tell is this in reference to? I think you have another thread but this as it is strikes me as nothing more than babbling.

sorry, I did have another thread going that I was referring to. Didn't mean to babble!
That's okay but this has no reference point and I have NO CLUE what it is in reference to so I guess it is good news but maybe not? Huh?

Here's the original entry:

My husband has primary custody of his 3 children. For the past 5 years+ NCP does not exercise any regular visitation. She will make "dates" with her children and then back out at the last minute, she will give excuses for not returning their phone calls and e-mails, and will regularly take time off to spend with her step children but then tell her biological kids that "she can not get a day off." She literally lives 15 minutes away from us and yet she cannot find the time to visit them or make a 2 minute phone call.

This past week, my husband's oldest son found out that his mother took this coming week-end off to go to a Renaissance Festival. This, one week after she was "unable" to attend his football game. He was very upset as were his brothers. My husband sent her a lengthy text message letting her know how upsetting it was to his children that she did this.
She has since called the local police and had them call him to say that she was threatening harrassment charges on him! What is the legal definition of harrassment? His text was in no way threatening, nor did he call her names or use vulgarity. Years ago, they exchanged a considerable amount of emails regarding this same subject and she filed charges on him. It was dropped. If conversations that make one party "uncomfortable" constitutes harrassment, how are parents supposed to be able to express themselves without involving the courts?
