What is the name of your state? Az.
I just found out some very disturbing news about my sons "father". When he was 16 he was arrested for molesting his 6 year old step sister. He is currently being investigated by CPS for suspicion of doing the same to his 6yo Soon to be step daughter. If he ever tries to get visitation( we were never married and there is no CS or custody order) Can this be used against him since he was a minor?? I dont know what came of the charges. Wouldn't he have to file as a sex offender?? or no because was a minor. He has seen him once in over two years. I originally joined this forum to get his PR terminated. After reading some posts I figured there was no way it could be done in my case. But now Im thinking It may be possible. The new girlfriend has had to call the police on him 5-7 times in the last 5 months. He has always had an alcohol problem. But he used to be a"functional alcoholic". He could live life, go to work, etc. Now he can't keep a job, gets VERY violent. They are engaged and she is 8 months pregnant. Even thogh I havent seen him in over a year we have mutual friends and most of my friends have seen him around. I NEVER had these problems with him. maybe thats why he left me for her. who knows some people just cant function in stable relationships. I dont want my son to be harmed. I have trie to "foster the NCP/son relationship", but its done no good. The GF & daughter always took priority over his own son. The one he talked me into not giving up. I love my little man. Things definately have a strange way of working themselves out. HE deserves better that what his father turned out to be. Is there a chance for Term of PR????
thanks to you all.

Also, you may find that the powers that be don't see a problem since your child is a boy and the situations you describe involve girls. Sad, but true. I would likely talk to an attorney to see how things lie.

The Prior insident may have been handled as a juvinile . That would not require registration of being a sex offender.

I have known a case that was classified as " inapropriate sexual conduct " by a minor . It is under 1st degee sexual abuse, and the investigator wasn't even going to recomend anything of it,but decided to refer it to some sort of probation for 6 mos,and counceling.Due to other prior history offenses.
After the 6 mos. the kid quit counseling. I hope it never happens again.
