My dilemma while tragic, is fairly simple:
My wife moved out of the house a few months ago to move into a home with another man. A few weeks after, my wife contacted me to inform me that our 10 year old son was not mine. She has provided me with DNA test results. The man she lives with is the biological father whom she had an affair with 10 years ago.
Since then my wife has stated that she and the biological father intend to change my son's last name to the biological father's.
My wife has let me see my son only once since she left. It was at his sister's birthday party (our two daughters live with me). My son informed me I was not his father and that he would no longer be calling me dad.
My heart is broken, and I am in shock. Some advice as to how to begin the process of fighting for my son would be appreciated.
Thank you.
