What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? texas
I have two children with my ex and she does not like my roomate. She thinks that my roomate does drugs which is not the case. She wants to have a drug test done on the people I live with which is not a concern but I hate the fact that my friend might have to get involved with all of the b.s. Is it possible for him to be subject to a drug test. Just curious if my friend will have to get involved with all of this.

Unless there is a court order your friends and you don't have to submit to anything.

when she runs to court demanding a drug test, you do not consent. that third party has nothing to do with the case.

are you aware if your roommate has a drug history?

If CPS were to come and investigate your home, would they find any evidence that drugs had ever been done by anyone in that home?

If so, that's something you better fix through any means necessary.

If not, you have nothing to worry about. If your roommate does drugs SOMEWHERE ELSE, no where near your child, and doesn't come home high or drunk so as to be a danger to your child, then that's his business. As long as he never brings drugs into the house or brings HIMSELF into the house when he's ON drugs, your child won't be in danger. Though your judgement in friends might be questionable.
