you are entitled to visitation with your children regardless of the situation between you and your husband.

if you are willingly giving up custody of your children to him and requesting visitation rights, those will also come with child support obligations.

you would have to be violent and unfit to care for children before you could be refused visitation rights. the new guy - his character would also weigh into this if he is living with you or going to be around the children often.

My response:

Ambr, I just wanted to take a moment to compliment you on your responses on the Boards.

You know, Family Law is 99% common sense, and the rest is really rather mundane.

But, you have a keen knack for giving good, general, and meaningful suggestions on the Boards, and the above post is a prime example.

I really enjoy reading you.

IAAL, since you do not venture on to the board of hate, you probably do not see some of the many other excellent responses by Ambr.. she's a babe..

Yes, Ambr is not only knowledgeable, but compassionate as well. She smooths a lot of ruffled feathers.

(can't resist this though. I heard she has a wrinkled old bottom!)

I would be more than happy to smooth that out!

LB, you're all heart! I think she was exaggerating though; even I don't have a wrinkled old bottom!
