What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

My juvenile son is on probation in Washington State. Today at my husband's job (local bank) his boss got a call from our son's probation officer out of the blue. She banks there and saw my husband. She wanted to know about the safety of her personal information and said she was afraid for her safety if we found out where she lived. She identified my husband and son by name. Is this a violation of some sort? It very well could have cost my husband his job as he's a loan officer and security is a high priority.

A violation of what? Criminal acts aren't private.

Pay a visit to the Probation dept. head and lodge a formal complaint, very unethical.

It seems that since my son is a minor, she shouldn't be blabbing around that he's on probation and calling my hubby's employer and making HIM sound like a criminal......
