What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Idaho

Does anyone know about parental responsibilities with a 16 year old on probation? It is my understanding that, ultimately, parents hold the financial responsibility for costs/restitution. How about required programs/classes? Are parents under any legal obligation to ensure the child attends/provide assistance to the child in getting to the class/program?
To what extent are we expected to have our child comply with probation?

I ask because we have been doing all we can to ensure he attends/have been making sure he has rides. But, he throws it all back in your face and I'm just a bit over going out of my way....

Most likely, if you fail to make sure he gets there, the probation department could ask the Court for an order concerning Parental Participation.

Ok, I'm not really sure what that is but I'll look it up.

If in the morning I say:
Where do you need to be today?
What time does it start?
Do you remember the address?
How are you getting there?
Do you need change for the bus?
Where's the bus?
Do you need to write this down?
(do you plan on taking the theory of personal responsibility on board anytime soon?)

Do you think I would have been considered to have done my job?
