Juvinile Probation

In Michigan, if A 17-year-old almost off of probation, by about 3 months, is vacated from her residence for some extreme reason, and crosses state lines with out telling her parents for lack of contact, will the probation be nullified? Or will they still come after her?
I am doing a research paper on this, and I can't find it anywhere else and all the other forums tell youto pay. Please this is important for a paper I have do before christmas break and it was assigned today.

Yes, if you run away to be with your boy/girl friend over Christmas break, you will be dragged back home and you WILL have violated your probation.

Almost off of probation means ON probation.

If you are going to continue this life of crime, you should really be a better liar.

If this is a research paper, what is your thesis? What class is this for? What state are you talking about? What is the primary offense on the probation?

I think it was for "I want to run away to be with my boy/girlfriend over Christmas but want to find out if it will land me in jail" 101.

I suspect you are right. But, on the off chance that it is truly a question by a stumped student, I thought I might give them a chance to prove it.

If it is the above mentioned "class," then I think it safe to say that probation would be violated, the sentence reinstated, and a wonderful new experience in custody would ensue. And, leaving the jurisdiction would likely cease the running of the probationary period so staying on the lam for the last three months probably will be of no use for her.
