I received a call Saturday night from the real estate agent that we rent our home through in Arizona. He stated that the owner has to sell all of their properties and that we have to start showing the house immediatly. Don't they have to give us some kind of notice on that or can they just start showing up with people when we have nowhere else to live?

What type of lease do you have?

If you have a yearly lease, it transfers to the new owners and they must honor it.

If you are a month to month tenant, the LL (or his agent) has to give you proper notice to terminate your tenancy. Usually 30 days is required, check your state laws.

The owner has the right to sell the house. The owner (or his agent) has the right to enter and show the property to potential buyers. Again, you must be given proper notice, usually 24 hours, before they can enter.

Tell them you require and are entitled to reasonable notice before they come to show , or plan on entering .

Reasonable would be 24 hrs . It's not set in stone . So plan 12-24 hrs .
