What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA

My daughter is having classmates over to work on a group project. They will be using tools in the garage. We plan to have an adult supervise them. Will we be liable if anyone of them gets hurt? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Agreed, you will.

This would be an excellent time to obtain a liability waiver from the other parents, make sure you have a good supply of eye and hand protection on hand and contact your insurance agent for a temporary policy.

Yeah, I know... sounds like a lot. Think of how long a civil trial concerning a blinded child would be.

I just spoke to my insurance agent. She says it does not cost much to raise our liability coverage. She also said that a waiver will not protect us. I know she is trying to sell me more insurance but is she also right about the signed waiver by the classmates' parents?
