In California there is a distribution company on strike, how ever this particular distribution company delivers to the local grocery stores (chain),(they are two different companies)the strike has led these picketers to the front of the grocery stores that have no affiliation with the labor dispute what so ever. I went grocery shopping at one of the stores that they are picketing, I was stopped, yelled at, and feared my safety, even the safety of my car while I was shopping. Since then I have not been back to that particular store.. my question is, can I bring charges against the picketing union that has no business out in front of the stores? or can I charge and sue for harassement? I feel like my right to shop where I want to has been violated, and the union needs to know what they are doing to the public isn't fair. Their labor disputes need to be kept with their own company.
